L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Pro Perfect Airbrush Self Tanner

We've tried a number of self tanners this spring. Ultimately, the most important part of any tanning product is the color you get and how realistic it looks. The L'Oreal Sublime has a very realistic bronze (not copper) color. The challenge with any tanning product is learning to use it properly. With this spray it's super important to keep a consistent distance from your skin which isn't always easy to do, especially when you're reaching around your legs or your backside. We found that two light applications (one right after the other) was the best way to avoid streaks and splotches. Also, avoid using straight lines to apply it; instead we used a swirl pattern. Also when you're finished applying, take a cotton ball and rub your elbows, ankles and achilles, these areas always grab too much product. Other good things about Sublime: there's a light scent (can't totally avoid the DHA smell), the mist is refreshing, and the price is affordable.

I would add that unfortunately you can't see where the product is going. I prefer tinted self tanners.
